Game Update 1.3.0b – Arrives Tomorrow, 7/22!

Greetings!

Tomorrow we will be bringing you Game Update 1.3.0b! While this is an interim patch, it introduces some very important changes to combat and careers that we encourage you to check out! 1.3.0b also brings with it some great improvements to the Field of Glory buff, and an all-new Renown ability available to players Renown Rank 40 and up.

1.3.0b will be going live on Wednesday, July 22nd. All North American servers will be brought down at 8:00 AM EDT with Oceanic servers to follow at 9:00 AM EDT. We expect all North American servers to be back up and running by 1:00 PM EDT, and Oceanic by 3:00 PM EDT.

Patch 1.2.1 – Arrives Tomorrow, 4/16!

Greetings!

Tomorrow we will be bringing you the Patch 1.2.1! While this is an interim patch, it's a beefy one, packed with tons of changes and improvements that the WAR community has been clamoring for. This patch also heralds the start of the Beyond the Sands Live Event, on April 20th.

1.2.1 will be going live Thursday, 4/16. All North American servers will be brought down at 7:00 AM EDT with Oceanic servers to follow at 9:00 AM EDT. We expect all North American servers to be back up and running by 1:00 PM EDT, and Oceanic by 3:00 PM EDT.

In addition to the 1.2.1 patch, we are also deploying some server performance improvements to the Dark Crag server during today's maintenance. We would love to hear your feedback on these improvements, especially for Tier 4.

Tomorrow we will be bringing you the massive and long-anticipated Patch 1.2, which heralds the arrival of the Choppa and Slayer careers, kicks off the the Bitter Rivals live event content (March 3 - 10), new items, over 500 bug fixes, extensive career balancing, and much more!

1.2 will be going live Tuesday, 3/3. All North American servers will be brought down at 7:00 AM EST with Oceanic servers to follow at 9:00 AM EST. We expect all servers to be back up and running by 1:00 PM EST.

Update 8:30 PM EST 3/3/2009 - Due to several of the changes made to the Swordmaster career, this career has been given a re-spec. Players will need to zone, or logout and login, for this change to take affect. Please go see your Career and Renown trainers to re-spec.

Update 2:30 PM EST 3/3/2009 - Please be advised of the following changes under the Witch Hunter Career (Balance Changes) :

Emperor's Commendation: This tactic has been replaced by Protection from Heresy. This Core Tactic will be trainable at Rank 37 and have the following effect: “When leaving incognito you will become protected by a barrier that will absorb up to ‘X’ damage.”
Encourage Confession: This Tactic has been changed. The tactic will now cause Blessed Bullets of Confession to make any target affected by it 5% easier to critical hit and is now available at 11 points into the Path of Inquisition.

Update 6:30 AM EST - Slight edit to the Rallying Cry system info to add Tier 3.
